Registers and Form C filings the hotel must keep or send.

Compliance is what must be reported or retained for authorities. India properties get Form C / Form III, the hotel register, the foreign-guest register, and the arrival and departure register.

A foreign national, including an OCI guest, is listed on Form C from the arrival date, including before check-in. The arrival filing is due 24 hours after arrival, or 24 hours after check-in when that is later. Departure is queued at checkout.

The dashboard counts filings due today, overdue, missing passport or visa data, and submissions in the last 30 days.

Click the guest, confirmation, or the missing-fields note to open that stay. Missing arriving-from, next destination, purpose, and ID photo are outlined on the stay. Passport, visa, and nationality are outlined on the guest profile. Submit stays hidden until those required values are present. Submit sends the filing only when FRRO_FORM_C_ENDPOINT and the hotel’s FRRO user id and secret are set. Otherwise it fails closed. After filing on the government portal, mark the row submitted and keep the reference.

Statutory is the pack’s tax report, not another list of the registers. India shows GST by component and SAC. Other countries show tax from the hotel’s own tax settings. Form C and the guest registers stay on their own screens.

How to

  1. Save the FRRO user id and secret on the compliance dashboard.
  2. Check in the foreign guest with passport, visa, photo, arriving-from, next destination, and purpose.
  3. Click a missing Form C row to fill the outlined fields on the stay, then return and submit. Mark it submitted after the portal accepts it.
  4. Export the guest register when an officer asks to inspect it.

Technical

  • Dashboard and registers need compliance:view. Submit and manual mark need compliance:file.
  • FRRO_FORM_C_ENDPOINT is optional. Unset submissions fail closed.
  • The filing payload is encrypted at rest. Passport numbers are not written to the audit log.
