Onboard a property

First week: register, create the hotel, sell rooms, take a stay, close a night.

Start·Owner·Updated 2026-09-28·Open in console

Open /register to create an owner account and organization. You will not have a hotel yet. The console sends you to /onboarding.

Onboarding captures identity: name, code, address, phone, email, timezone, currency, locale, and stay times. Stay times become the default arrival and departure times on new reservations.

A property with no rooms cannot sell. Add room types and physical numbers on Rooms, then set the BAR calendar on Rates. FLEX and NRF derive from BAR.

Taxes, fees, event venues, amenities, photos, and Card payments live under Property settings—not on onboarding.

Staff who already have accounts sign in at /login. Roles are assigned on the property. There is no separate invite screen in the console.

When inventory exists, guests can book at /book/{property-code}. Walk-ins use New reservation. Both hit the same inventory.

How to

  1. Create the owner account at /register.
  2. Fill /onboarding (name, code, timezone, currency, check-in / check-out) and save.
  3. On Rooms, add at least one room type and the physical room numbers.
  4. On Rates, set BAR nights. Confirm FLEX (pay later) and NRF (prepaid) derive from BAR.
  5. On Property settings, add taxes and fees, venues if you sell banquets, photos for Direct, and Card payments.
  6. Create a walk-in on New reservation. Confirm the stay appears on the tape chart.
  7. Open /book/{your-code} once rooms and rates exist to confirm Direct.
  8. On Operations home, check till and outstanding. Prepare the night-audit checklist; a manager or owner closes the date.
